Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the engineering team, including recruiting, mentoring, and developing top\s\s
engineering talent
- Define and drive the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for the company
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive execution
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable and reliable software solutions
- Scale best practices for software development, including microservices, multi-tenanted,\s\s
distributed systems, multi-cloud deployments (AWS/GCP), GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code\s\s
(IAC)
- Familiarity with data security principles, compliance requirements, and governance frameworks.
- Comfortable with major languages, frameworks including Node.js, Python, Java, and Go, and\s\s
databases/data lakes including SQL, NoSQL, Snowflake/Athena
- Also manage frontend development teams for react based frameworks
- Ensure the highest standards of quality through thorough testing and continuous\s\s
integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Drive a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the engineering organization\s\s
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role\s\s
(e.g., Engineering Manager, Director of Engineering)
- Proven track record of successfully scaling engineering teams and delivering complex\s\s
technical projects
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, event-based systems, and multi-cloud\s\s
deployments
- Experience with best practices such as GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (IAC), and thorough\s\s
testing methodologies
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with\s\s
cross-functional leadership and manage technical vendors and agencies
- Experience in the logistics industry or a related field is a plus
