Frontend Developer NextJS and React (Ecommerce Storefront) – Noida – On-site – Full Time
We are hiring a Frontend Developer (NextJS) for an AI-led D2C ecommerce company based in Noida (on-site, Monday to Friday). The storefront is the product: every millisecond of load time, every step of the checkout funnel and every pixel of the product page moves revenue. You will own the customer-facing storefront end to end – product discovery, PDP, cart and checkout – and build it fast, accessible, SEO-friendly and built to convert.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain the ecommerce storefront in NextJS and React, using SSR, SSG and ISR where each makes sense
- Translate Figma designs into responsive, pixel-accurate, mobile-first interfaces
- Develop core commerce flows: catalog and search, filters, PDP, cart, wishlist, checkout, order tracking and account pages
- Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs from the backend and third-party services (payments, shipping, reviews, CMS)
- Own Core Web Vitals – optimize LCP, INP and CLS through image optimization, code splitting, caching and bundle discipline
- Implement technical SEO: metadata, structured data, canonical URLs, sitemaps and crawlable server-rendered pages
- Instrument analytics and conversion events (GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel) and support A/B tests run by the growth team
- Build and maintain a reusable component library and design system
- Write tests, review code and keep the codebase clean, typed and documented
- Debug production issues across browsers and devices, especially low-end Android and slow networks
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
Core Frontend
- Strong JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
- React – hooks, composition patterns, performance optimization, state management
- NextJS – App Router, Server Components, routing, data fetching, route handlers, middleware and the SSR/SSG/ISR trade-offs
- Semantic HTML5 and modern CSS; Tailwind CSS or comparable utility-first or CSS-in-JS experience
- Responsive, mobile-first development and cross-browser compatibility
Data and State
- REST API integration and comfort with GraphQL
- Client and server state handling – TanStack Query or SWR, plus Zustand, Redux Toolkit or Context where appropriate
- Form handling and validation (React Hook Form, Zod or Yup)
Performance and SEO
- Demonstrable experience improving Core Web Vitals on a production site
- next/image, lazy loading, code splitting, caching strategies, CDN basics and bundle analysis
- Technical SEO fundamentals and schema.org structured data for products, offers and reviews
Engineering Practices
- Git and pull-request-based workflows
- Testing with Jest and React Testing Library; end-to-end testing with Playwright or Cypress
- ESLint, Prettier and a habit of writing readable, maintainable code
- Accessibility fundamentals (WCAG 2.1 AA, keyboard navigation, ARIA)
PREFERRED / BONUS SKILLS
- A/B testing platforms (VWO, Optimizely, GrowthBook) and experiment implementation
- Progressive Web App features – offline support, add to home screen, push notifications
- Animation and micro-interactions (Framer Motion, GSAP)
- UI/UX judgment and comfort working directly from Figma
PREFERRED INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
- Consumer-facing ecommerce, D2C or high-traffic websites
- Headless commerce, marketplace or subscription commerce platforms
SOFT SKILLS
- You care about speed and measure it rather than guessing
- You reason about trade-offs between developer convenience and user experience, and you pick the user
- Clear communication with designers, backend engineers and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable with ambiguity and shipping iteratively in a startup environment
