Designation: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
** Location: Gurugram, India **
Key Role and Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the technology team, ensuring the delivery of innovative and tailor-made product solutions.
• Own the engineering deliverables and P&L for the tech team, driving the product roadmap, evolution, and scaled product architecture.
• Serve as a strategic partner to management, aligning technology initiatives with business goals and future company endeavours.
• Identify and implement technology innovations that enhance company’s competitive edge in the healthcare fintech sector.
• Responsible for fostering strong collaboration among departments, including Product, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, to ensure alignment with the company’s overall strategy and objectives.
• Oversee the complete product life cycle, managing both front-end and back-end development to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Develop and implement scalable and secure product architectures that support multiple product lines and have a broader impact.
• Build and mentor a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and tools to meet evolving business and technological demands
• Adhere to allocated budgets for necessary resource building while keeping abreast of AOP
• Ensure robust security, compliance, and risk management practices across all technology platforms and initiatives.
• Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to guide company’s technology strategy.
Skills and Requirements :
• 15+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a proven track record of managing and scaling technology teams in a fast-paced environment. • Extensive experience in front-end and back-end development, with a comprehensive understanding of the product life cycle.
• Experience in cloud technologies, including architecture, deployment, and management of cloud services (AWS preferred).
• Expertise in software architecture principles, design patterns, cloud computing, DevOps, and security practices.
• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks, preferably Java Microservices (using Spring Boot) or Node.js, React or VueJS, mobile applications (Native or Hybrid), SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Education /Qualifications:
• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of software development, architecture and engineering best practices.
