Job Title: Sales Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager to promote and sell curriculum products to CBSE and State board schools. This role requires a proactive professional who can manage the entire sales cycle — from lead generation to closing deals and maintaining post-sale relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a knack for building long-term client partnerships, and a genuine passion for education.

This is a field-based role involving extensive travel within the city to meet potential clients. A competitive pay package, including a variable sales commission, is offered.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and generate leads through cold calling, walk-ins, referrals, and other channels.
- Understand customer needs and demonstrate how the product offering addresses those needs.
- Achieve assigned sales targets within the designated region.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction and renewals.
- Manage timely collections from partnered schools; incentives are tied to both sales and collections.
- Secure customer testimonials and referrals to expand the customer base.
- Conduct parent orientation sessions at schools.
- Gather client feedback and share insights for product and service improvements.
- Act as a brand ambassador in all customer interactions.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- 2–4 years of sales experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience selling curriculum products to schools.
- Proven track record in competitive sales environments.

Skills & Competencies:

- Excellent verbal and written communication in English, Hindi, and the local language.
- Strong interpersonal, empathy, and listening skills.
- Confident and resilient in handling objections and high-pressure situations.
- Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Energetic, cheerful, and result-oriented personality.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, startup-like environment.
- Genuine passion for the K-12 education sector.

Note:

This is a full-time, field-based position requiring extensive travel within the city.
