We are partnering with a technology-led Global Capability Center (GCC) that operates as a strategic engineering and innovation hub for a global software platform. The GCC focuses on building modern, secure, high-quality software and integrates testing, automation, and reliability practices into the core of its engineering lifecycle. This is a product-driven role with direct influence on software quality and delivery.
Role Overview
As a Software Engineer in Test – Automation, you will play a key role in enhancing software quality and reliability by designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive test automation frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including development, product, and operations to ensure robust testing coverage and seamless delivery of software releases.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks for web, API, and backend services
Implement automated test cases to improve software quality and test coverage
Execute performance and load tests to ensure resilient application behavior
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality standards
Conduct regression, performance, and security testing to validate system reliability
Investigate test failures, debug issues, and support engineering teams in defect resolution
Advocate for best practices in automation, code quality, and software reliability
Stay current with emerging tools and technologies in automation and testing
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
4+ years of professional experience in software test automation
Technical Skills
Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript
Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
Strong knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD
Understanding of containerization and cloud technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AWS)
Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) is a plus

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively across global, cross-functional teams
