Job Title:

Area Sales Manager – Electrical Switchgear, Wires & Fans

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Meerut, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Indore

Key Responsibilities

📈 Sales & Business Development

Achieve revenue targets for switchgear, wiring, cables, and fans in your designated territory.

Identify and develop new business across retail, wholesale, and project channels.

Promote new product lines and run promotional campaigns & schemes.

🤝 Dealer & Distributor Channel Management

Expand and strengthen distribution and dealership networks.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and channel partners.

💰 Payment & Accounts Follow-up

Initiate follow-up on invoicing and receivables; ensure timely payment collection.

Carry out regular account reconciliation with distributors and dealers.

📊 Reporting & Forecasting

Provide weekly/monthly sales reports and forecasts to management.

Coordinate order processing and maintain accurate CRM data.

👥 Team Leadership

Mentor, guide, and supervise any on-field sales team members.

Conduct market visits, field training, and product briefings.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., B.E.)

Experience: 8–12 years in sales within the Electrical Industry (switchgear, wires, cables, fans).

Proven track record in area sales, dealer/distributor management, and order/payment follow-up.

Demonstrated experience in team handling and business development.

Strong communication skills and fluency in the local language of your territory.

Proficient with MS Office and CRM platforms.
