We’re looking for an inspiring and forward-thinking Head of HR to lead our HR initiatives across Coimbatore and our soon-to-be-launched Chennai office. This role kicks off in Coimbatore, where you’ll immerse yourself in our culture and operations before heading to Chennai to take the reins and lead HR for both locations. You’ll be at the heart of our mission, ensuring that we attract, retain, and nurture the best talent while creating an environment where innovation thrives.
What You’ll Do
Build a Rockstar Team
- Lead the charge in building a top-tier talent acquisition team in Chennai, hiring individuals who are not just skilled but are also deeply aligned with our mission to revolutionize coding education. - Drive recruitment strategies that bring in the best minds, setting us up to make waves in the industry.Set the Stage for Success
- Establish and scale HR operations in Chennai, drawing insights from our Coimbatore office to create systems that work seamlessly across both locations. - Develop and implement processes for everything HR—onboarding, performance management, rewards, and recognitions—ensuring every Neo feels valued and empowered.Lead with Vision
- Guide and mentor your HR team, starting with 2 direct reportees and growing to 5 within six months. You’ll be the beacon they look to for leadership and inspiration. - Oversee IT administration, ensuring our operations are smooth and efficient, even without needing a technical background.Be the Culture Champion
- Live and breathe the companies values, setting an example for the entire team. You’ll be the steward of our culture, ensuring it’s felt in every aspect of our operations. - Promote a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and high performance—because at company, we never settle.Shape the Future
- Partner with the COO, CEO, and Founder’s Office to align HR strategies with our big-picture goals. Your insights will help steer the company toward even greater success. - Lead initiatives that keep us at the forefront of HR innovation, ensuring that our practices not only meet the industry standard but set them.
What You Bring
· At least 8 years of HR experience, with significant expertise in HR Business Partnering and experience in talent acquisition
· MBA or PGDM in Human Resources is preferred—but what we’re really looking for is passion, drive, and a proven track record.
· You’ve built and scaled HR teams before and know how to set up processes that work without being overly rigid.
· You’re a data-driven decision-maker who believes in the power of numbers to guide strategy
· Strong leadership and communication skills—you inspire confidence and get the best out of your team.
Work Environment
Location: Kick-off in Coimbatore for 3 months, then make your mark in Chennai. Expect to visit Coimbatore once every three months to stay connected.
