Job Scope / Position Summary

Purpose Of this Role: Reserving Actuarial, IFRS

Main Responsibility

1. Good understanding of IFRS 17 concepts including IFRS balance sheet and profit and loss statement, basic GMM and PAA
approach, ability to implement and updgrade/update the templates, preparing quarterly reporting for group entity
2. To conduct, review and report the monthly reserving for various General Insurance lines of business. Communicate
clearly all findings and significant movements in any of the portfolios to finance and all key stakeholders every month.
3. Conduct and review with the team the quarterly and annual BAP IRDA reporting tasks and annual regulatory
submissions.
4. Conduct and review annual and quarterly Asset liability management assessment
5 Prepare the annual financial condition report and economic capital computation
6 Work with all the teams in reviewing and development of the strategic plan.
7 Ability to work with minimum supervision and problem-solving ability
8 Completion of tasks on time and at desired standards including documentation and audit trails
9 Knowledge on the data management software like R studio, SAS

Qualification and Experience Requirement

Education : • At least 5 Actuarial exams cleared

IFRS 17
• Awareness of competitive landscape in the Indian General Insurance market and IRDA
regulations would be an added advantage
• Experience of ResQ reserving software and other statistical analysis software like R, SAS, SQL
Server will be an added advantage.

Experience : • Minimum prior experience of 3-5 years working in an insurance and/or actuarial consultancy is

required
