Job Scope

The purpose of the role is to keep track and ensure timely and accurate submission of periodic and adhoc regulatory reports. Supporting various activities relating to Group Integration Projects

Main Responsibilities:

1-Ensuring timely and accurate submission of reports to Statutory Authorities

(IRDAI, GIC, IIB etc.). Maintaining proper record of correspondance to and from

Statutory Authorities including Policy/SOP tracker. Regular co-ordination with the

internal departments for timely submission of Adhoc and Regular reportings of

statutory Authorities.

2-Keeping track and circulations of regulatory updates and notifications by

Authorities (IRDAI, GIC, IIB ), ensuring timely broadcast of the regulatory

circulars/notifications. Ensure timely preparation of gap analysis from the

regulatory circular and track implementation of the regulatory compliance

requirement and pursue the same with stakeholders for completion

3-Regular update new regulatory submission and update certification checklist for

new circulars/guidelines certification basis on the company compliance monitoring tool

within the quarter and review and update the same in Regulatory return

framework on monthly basis and circulate the same as and when required.

Timely review of advertisements, Marketing collaterals/Product documents,

scripts, policies, SOPs from Compliance angle

4-Providing data to Internal Audit etc. as well as external agencies such as Statutory

& Secretarial Auditors from time to time and processing the payment of vendors

petaining to Compliance function and IRDAI renewal payment and support in

IRDAI inspection including coordination for timely logistical and data arrangent

5-(i) Assisting in customization and localization of the Asia product Framework

(ii)perform the related second level controls as per the Control Testing Plan

timelines and document them in the GRC within such timelines; agree mitigation

actions and timelines with the onwers, where necessary

(iii)Assessment of local regulations, in order to evaluate their adherence to

Group standards following the Group Compliance Operating Model (i.e. GIRS

self-assessment on Compliance Policies and Guidelines)

(iv) Group Standards/Common activities: perform the activities provided by the

Group Compliance Operating Model in alignment with Group/ICT/Regional

directions (added from Tone from the Top & Ethics) and participate in the Ethical

Culture Evaluation Index and improvement actions

(v) keep the integration plan activities on track

Education:

Any graduate with 7 to 10 years experience in General Insurance Company(CS

/LL.B degree preferable) having knowledge and experience of regulatory

submissions, knowledge of insurance circulars/regulations/guidelines
