Job Title: Dean – Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)

School of Engineering

Eligibility Criteria:

Ph.D. in Electronics & Communication Engineering or a closely related discipline (mandatory).

Strong academic record throughout.

Master’s degree in ECE with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 12–15 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration in higher education.

Must have worked as Associate Professor or Assistant Professor with demonstrated academic leadership responsibilities.

Prior experience in a Dean / Associate Dean / Head of Department / Academic Leadership role will be highly preferred.

Strong research profile with publications in reputed / indexed journals.

Experience in funded research projects, consultancy, patents, or industry collaboration is an added advantage.

Role & Responsibilities:

Provide academic and strategic leadership to the ECE department.

Drive curriculum development aligned with industry needs, accreditation standards (NBA / NAAC), and emerging technologies.

Lead faculty recruitment, development, mentoring, and performance evaluation.

Promote a culture of research, innovation, publications, patents, and sponsored projects.

Strengthen industry partnerships, MoUs, consultancy, internships, and placement initiatives.

Ensure high standards of teaching quality, student engagement, and academic governance.

Lead accreditation processes, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Support advancement of laboratories, research facilities, and digital learning infrastructure.
