**Position Summary: **This is an exciting role entrusted with three core areas of contribution related to the design and implementation of Foundational Literacy & Numeracy (FLN) and Early Childhood Education (ECE) programs at CSF

**
Developing curriculum and training content:** Designing curriculum & training content, quality assuring outputs in line with evidence-informed practices,.

Key output could include:

- Learning Outcome Frameworks, Structured Pedagogy Lesson Plans, Student Worksheets, and Formative Assessments
- Teacher Professional Development workshops and instructional video content
- Coaching and mentoring protocols
- Explainer videos, presentations, collaterals and nudges
- Workshops with government experts & technical partners

Generating field implementation insights: Conducting field visits and classroom observations to our district programs to generate actionable insights by collecting and analysing data in the field from

- Teaching practices in literacy and numeracy
- Student learning outcomes assessments
- Academic support processes

Building academic capacity: Upskill our state and district facing teams by strengthening academic understanding and intervention

- Conducting in-person and remote training
- On-the-job shadowing and coaching on the field
- Conducting train-the-trainer sessions

**Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities: **We are looking for a young professional with 2-4 years of experience who brings

In-Depth academic understanding with a degree from a reputed institute with a bachelor’s/master’s or a fellowship in education with research-based understanding of Early Grade Literacy and Numeracy, Structured Pedagogy, Curriculum Design and Teacher Professional Development

2-4 years of curriculum and professional development experience at a leading education services or non-profit organisation focuses on government or

- Researching best practices, translate complex research into useful knowledge products, apply principles of instructional design, and create user-friendly outputs
- Designing curricular resources include teacher and student facing content including lesson plans, worksheets, assessments etc
- Delivering teacher professional development and instructional coaching in field-based program implementation contexts

Strong communication and execution ability

- Fluency in reading, writing and presenting academic content in both English and Hindi (\*our government program materials are mostly in Hindi and domain content is mostly in English)
- Excellent project execution skills, including ability to break down tasks, adhere to timelines, balance multiple priorities at a time, and hold oneself and others accountable to deliverables
- Impact, growth and stretch mindset suited for an organisation with ambition for depth, quality and scale

Passion to make a scaled impact in education and belief in the possibility of foundational learning for all children

Openness to feedback and continuous learning from experience

- Willingness to travel 8-10 days a month to field locations in remote districts across our various states

Compensation : Remuneration will be competitive with Indian philanthropy pay scales and will depend upon the candidate’s experience levels.
