Description

We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking, and fearless Key Account Manager (KAM)

to 1/ upsell & retain existing partnerships with schools 2/ enroll new partnerships

in their assigned regions. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess strong

negotiation skills, an understanding of Ed-Tech sales dynamics, and a how-to-partner

mindset. The KAM will be responsible for driving timely contract renewals, identifying

opportunities for revenue growth through upselling, and enroll quality schools. It’s a

very serious & challenging job.

The Job (Duties & Responsibilities)

● Build and nurture strong relationships with schools and key stakeholders to drive

upsell & retention with existing partner schools.

● Responsible for prospecting, initiating, negotiating and finalizing deals, offering

solutions to new schools in the region.

● Regularly monitor and report on sales pipelines and key performance

metrics using the company’s CRM system to ensure visibility and track

progress.

● Address client concerns proactively and resolve issues within 48 hours to

maintain a high customer satisfaction level.

● Ensure adherence to the company’s commercial policies and maintain a

consistent approach in all dealings with schools.

● Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery, from

initial onboarding to ongoing support, enhancing the overall client

experience.

The Person (Skills, Qualifications, Attitude)

● Experience of 6-9 years in Sales and Client Retention in the B2B domain.

● Tier 2 MBA and/or Engineering degree, is likely, not essential

● Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Commercial smarts

and drive – both are essential.

● Resilience, dedication, and ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.

● Prior experience in the Education/Ed-Tech sector is highly desirable.

● Locations: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi

● Open to travel extensively

● Hands On – sharp shooter.
