Job Title: HR Operations Manager

Location: Bangalore, India

Working Days: 6 Days/Week

Reporting To: Head of HR

**Job Summary:
**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Operations Manager to oversee and streamline HR operations and processes. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing labor compliance, employee onboarding, background verification, payroll support, and HRMS tools, ensuring smooth and compliant HR operations within the organization. This role is pivotal in supporting the Head of HR to create a seamless employee experience and compliance with statutory requirements.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities
**

1. Labour Compliance

Ensure the company complies with all applicable labor laws and regulations.

Maintain updated knowledge of statutory requirements, including employee benefits, working hours, and health & safety standards.

Coordinate with legal teams or external agencies to handle compliance audits and inspections.

Submit regular compliance reports to management.

2. Employee Onboarding

Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.

Facilitate the creation of employee profiles and issuance of offer letters and appointment documents.

Conduct induction programs to introduce new employees to company policies, culture, and HR tools.

3. Background Verification (BGV)

Manage and monitor the background verification process for all new joiners.

Collaborate with external BGV vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate checks.

Address and resolve discrepancies identified during the verification process.

4. Statutory Training Compliance

Maintain a calendar of statutory and mandatory training programs for employees.

Track and ensure employee participation in compliance training sessions, such as POSH, workplace safety, etc.

Document and report training completions to meet regulatory requirements.

5. Managing HRMS Tool

Oversee HRMS operations, including the maintenance of accurate employee records (e.g., joiner and exit details, bank information).

Monitor workflows for employee onboarding, exits, and updates to ensure system efficiency and accuracy.

Act as the point of contact for resolving HRMS-related issues and ensure seamless user experience.

6. Payroll Support

Collaborate with payroll teams to provide accurate employee data for payroll processing.

Assist in reviewing and validating monthly payroll to ensure compliance with tax laws and statutory deductions.

Address employee payroll queries and concerns in a timely manner.

7. Reimbursements

Oversee the processing and approval of employee reimbursement claims in line with company policies.

Ensure proper documentation, review, and timely disbursement of claims.

Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with reimbursement guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR operations or related roles, preferably in a managerial capacity.
- Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS tools and payroll processing.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.

Additional Information

Work Location: Bangalore (on-site role).

This is a 6-day working role, requiring flexibility to address urgent HR operations issues.
