Location: SEA
This role will be responsible for a regional coverage across the South East Asia
He/She will ultimately be responsible for developing effective student recruitment strategies across
the assigned markets, which deliver business objectives and regional growth targets. A strong
knowledge and background in managing both domestic and international student recruitment from
the SEA region is crucial to support annual planning which includes budgeting, setting recruitment
targets, pricing, and development of recruitment activities including events.
This role will work closely with recruitment agents, strategic partners and internal stakeholders,
therefore excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively influence key decision makers are
essential.
The post holder will ideally be expected to:
• Develop effective student recruitment strategies, ensuring alignment with target profiles for
each programme, and utilizing student ambassador, alumni, faculty, and existing exchange
relationships
• Organize, coordinate, and represent the Business School in recruitment events, such as
information sessions, coffee chats, webinars, postgraduate fairs and university visits,
including close collaboration with the College’s Recruitment and Outreach team.
• Act as the first point of contact for enquiries from prospective students via email, telephone
and in person
• Make initial assessment on candidates’ suitability for their chosen programme in line with
Business School entry requirements, organizing consultation schedules, and conducting
consultations by email, telephone and in person
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective students and offer holders by dealing with
all enquiries promptly and professionally, advising applicants on all aspects of the admission
process, their suitability and programme details, and aiding the conversion of high-quality
applicants
• Implement outreach campaigns to offer holders and applicants-in-progress, in a range of
channels including phone and email marketing, in line with business objectives
• Maintain a detailed knowledge of domestic and international markets and recruitment trends
OPERATIONS:
The post holder will be expected to:
• Efficiently manage the conduction of the whole program in the region.
• Communicate regularly with students and faculties to ensure all quality compliances within
the program delivery.
• Provide regular updates to the Program Director
• Provide recommendations and innovative solutions on the operational and logistical
efficiency of the program in the region with respect to program delivery venue, student
accommodation and every aspect associated to the conduct of cultural immersion bit of the
programme
• Directly manage a team of contractual staff for smooth on ground operational delivery
