Role Overview\*\*

We are seeking a Head of Communications to lead and scale the organization’s \*\*internal and external communications strategy\*\* in India. This role will be responsible for shaping brand narrative, strengthening leadership communication, managing reputation, and driving consistent messaging across employees, media, and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of \*\*strategic thinking, strong writing skills, stakeholder management, and experience working with global leadership teams\*\*.

Key Responsibilities\*\*

Strategic Communications\*\*

\* Define and execute the overall \*\*communications strategy\*\* aligned with business objectives

\* Act as a trusted communications advisor to senior leadership

\* Ensure consistent messaging across all channels and audiences

Internal Communications\*\*

\* Lead internal communications across leadership announcements, business updates, change initiatives, and culture programs

\* Partner with HR and leadership teams on employee engagement and change communication

\* Own leadership messaging, townhalls, executive emails, and internal campaigns

External Communications & PR\*\*

\* Manage external communications including media relations, press releases, thought leadership, and crisis communication

\* Serve as key point of contact for media, PR agencies, and external partners

\* Protect and enhance corporate reputation in India

Brand & Content\*\*

\* Own corporate storytelling, editorial calendar, and content strategy

\* Oversee content creation across digital, social, and corporate platforms

\* Ensure brand voice and tone consistency

Crisis & Issues Management\*\*

\* Lead crisis communication planning and execution

\* Prepare leadership with messaging, Q&A, and response strategies during sensitive situations

Team & Stakeholder Management\*\*

\* Build and lead a high-performing communications team

\* Collaborate with global communications teams to align local and global narratives

\* Manage external vendors, agencies, and consultants

Required Qualifications & Experience\*\*

Education\*\*

\* Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field

\* Master’s degree preferred

Experience\*\*

\* 12–18+ years of experience in:

\* Corporate communications \* Internal communications \* PR / media relations \* Leadership communications
