Role Overview

The Field Sales Counsellor will be responsible for enquiry/lead generation, counselling, conversion, and payment collection to achieve enrolment and order intake targets. The role requires extensive fieldwork, strong market understanding, and the ability to engage, counsel, and convert prospective candidates.

1. Enrolment & Order Intake

Achieve assigned enrolment / order intake goals.

Convert enquiries into confirmed admissions through effective counselling and follow-ups.

2. Enquiry / Lead Generation

Generate enquiries using multiple BTL activities, including:

Employment exchanges

Job drives and job fairs

College connects (limited)

Employee exchanges

Outreach to unorganised sector workforce

Engage effectively with graduates to build a strong lead pipeline.

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to generate a database of eligible candidates.

Conduct extensive telephone calling to convert prospects into walk-ins.

Deliver presentations, explain course benefits, and convince candidates to enrol and pay training fees.

Expand outreach by adding new locations every month.

Travel extensively within and outside the assigned territory for outreach and lead generation activities.

3. Market Understanding

Develop in-depth knowledge of the micro-market within the assigned territory.

Understand the local ecosystem, including:

Employment exchanges

Third-party employers

Non-organised sectors

Tier-3 colleges

Alumni networks

4. Admission Process

Share complete and accurate course information with candidates.

Ensure the admission process is compliant and followed correctly.

Admit only eligible candidates who qualify through the defined process.

5. System Updation & Reporting

Ensure timely and accurate system updates.

Maintain daily activity reports.

Support batch occupancy and batch launches through effective enrolment planning.
