Sales Director – KRAs
1. Sales Strategy | P&L Management | Revenue Generation
● Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets and business growth.
● Take full ownership of Profit & Loss for the sales function or vertical.
● Ensure business profitability by managing pricing strategies, controlling costs, and optimizing resource allocation.
● Monitor sales performance, identify roadblocks, and adjust strategies as needed.
● Lead efforts to expand market presence, penetrate new markets, and increase the customer base.
● Prepare and manage annual budgets aligned with business goals.
2. Team Leadership & Performance Management
● Lead, mentor, and manage the entire sales team, setting clear performance targets and KPIs.
● Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and performance appraisals.
● Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and results-driven sales culture.
● Retain top talent to ensure consistent high performance.
● Provide ongoing training and mentorship to develop individual skills and sales expertise.
● Promote a collaborative environment that encourages teamwork and knowledge sharing.

3. Client Relationship & Key Account Management
● Ensure high client satisfaction through regular engagement, business reviews, and tailored solutions.
● Collaborate with customer success teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
● Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and accounts.
● Address customer concerns promptly to ensure a positive brand experience.
4. Market Research & Competitive Analysis
● Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and industry developments.
● Provide actionable insights to improve service offerings, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
5. Reporting & Forecasting
● Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and financial performance updates to senior management.
● Analyze sales data to identify gaps, opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
● Track and analyze key sales metrics.
● Generate reports to measure team performance and highlight areas for improvement.
● Communicate sales performance regularly to the team and upper management.
● Utilize data-driven insights to optimize sales strategies and resource allocation.
6. Process Optimization & CRM Management
● Establish and continuously improve sales processes, from lead generation to deal closure.
● Ensure effective CRM usage across the team to track activities, manage leads, and maintain data accuracy.
● Implement a clear and effective sales process for the team to follow.
● Analyze customer needs and develop targeted sales strategies to close deals.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Background: MBA/PGDM or equivalent, preferably in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration.
Experience: 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the education sector.
Skills:
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving large teams.
Strong understanding of P&L management and financial acumen.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Data-driven approach with the ability to analyze and act on insights effectively.
High energy and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
