We are seeking an experienced and results-driven BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and recruiting top talent for various positions across the BFSI sector. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the BFSI industry, strong recruitment skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Sourcing & Attraction:
Identify and source candidates through multiple channels, including job portals, social media, employee referrals, and direct networking.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future BFSI job openings.
Leverage advanced sourcing techniques such as Boolean search, headhunting, and cold outreach to identify passive candidates.
Recruitment & Selection:
Conduct initial screening calls and interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and senior leadership teams.
Facilitate assessment tests and skill evaluations where required.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from initial contact to offer stage, ensuring timely closure of roles.
Stakeholder Management:
Partner with hiring managers and department heads to understand recruitment needs, job requirements, and team culture.
Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and timelines to stakeholders.
Guide hiring managers on the selection process, compensation benchmarks, and candidate expectations.
Market & Industry Knowledge:
Stay updated on trends and developments in the BFSI industry, including changes in regulations, emerging technologies, and market demands.
Conduct market research to understand competitor hiring trends and compensation practices.
Candidate Experience:
Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining transparent communication, managing expectations, and providing feedback throughout the hiring process.
Promote the company as an employer of choice through effective branding and candidate relationship management.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and legal compliance during the recruitment process.
Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, interviews, feedback, and hiring decisions in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Generate regular recruitment reports to track progress, hiring metrics, and improve future processes.
Networking & Relationship Building:
Build and maintain a network of professionals in the BFSI industry to leverage for future recruitment needs.
Attend relevant industry events, conferences, and career fairs to enhance brand visibility and recruitment reach.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Additional certifications in HR or recruitment (e.g., CIR, AIRS, etc.) are a plus.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in BFSI recruitment, with a proven track record of filling positions in banking, financial services, and insurance sectors.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of BFSI roles, industry trends, regulatory landscape, and key skill sets required for various job functions.
Recruitment Skills: Expertise in sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates across multiple BFSI domains (e.g., retail banking, investment banking, insurance, asset management).
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal stakeholders and external candidates.
Technology: Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, etc.).
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
Preferred Skills:
Experience recruiting for senior leadership or niche roles within BFSI.
Familiarity with diversity and inclusion initiatives in recruitment.
Knowledge of specific BFSI products and services (e.g., credit risk, asset management, insurance underwriting).
