Job Title: CIQA Coordinator

Reporting To: Associate Director, Centre for Research

Location: Bengaluru

Job Summary:

The Manager – Centre for Research plays a pivotal role in supporting and advancing the

university’s research initiatives, fostering interdisciplinary collaborations, managing funded

research projects, and coordinating academic and scholarly events. The role demands a dynamic

individual who can handle administrative, academic, and operational aspects of the research

ecosystem, with a special focus on external collaborations, compliance, and real-time project

coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

 Provide academic and administrative support for PhD scholars, including monitoring

progress and managing candidacy reports and overlooking the complete Ph.D. program

 Support in managing finances of R&D projects funded by government and non-

government agencies (e.g., DST, DRDO, SERB, CSIR, IITs).

 Prepare Utilization Certificates (UCs), financial reports, and compliance documentation

for funding agencies and liaise with internal finance teams and external funding bodies to

ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

 Manage the database for all Centre of Excellence, and other research related activities

such as publications.

 Handle end-to-end online coordination, logistics tracking, real-time crisis management

for research driven events.

 Coordinate with the Branding and Social Media Teams to amplify visibility of research

activities across platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram).

Qualifications & Experience:

 Postgraduate degree (Master’s or higher) in a relevant discipline.

 Proven experience in academic/research office administration and research project

management.

 Familiarity with funding processes and financial reporting in research projects is highly

desirable.

 Experience working with higher education institutions and interacting with government

agencies and international collaborators is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

 Strong organizational, coordination, and multitasking abilities.

 Proficiency in handling data, documentation, and online platforms for virtual events.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external

stakeholders.

 Proficiency in tools such as MS. Excel, MS Office, Google Workspace, project tracking

software, and social media platforms.

 Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve real-time issues effectively.
