General Manager, Business Development
Location: Gurgaon
Budget: 18-22LPA (Fixed) +3LPA Variable & Retention
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager of Business
Development to lead our strategic growth initiatives. The successful candidate will be
responsible for driving revenue growth through the development and execution of
comprehensive business development strategies. This role requires strong leadership skills, a
deep understanding of sales and marketing principles, and a proven track record of success in
achieving ambitious business goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company
objectives and revenue targets.
2. Identify new business opportunities and market trends, and develop strategies to
capitalize on them.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients,
partners, and industry influencers.
4. Lead the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including
managing the sales pipeline and closing deals.
5. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement marketing campaigns
and initiatives to support business development efforts.
6. Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product or
service enhancements.
7. Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including sales revenue, market
share, and customer satisfaction.
8. Lead and motivate the business development team to achieve individual and team
goals.
9. Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive developments, and provide strategic
recommendations to senior management.
10. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking
opportunities.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA
preferred.
2. Proven track record of success in business development, with a minimum of 6
years of experience in a similar role.
3. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate
teams to achieve goals.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport
and negotiate effectively with clients and partners.
5. Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and the ability to identify and
capitalize on market opportunities.
6. Results-oriented with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving business
targets.
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to
changing priorities.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
