Position Overview
We are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our digital transformation and technology strategy. The CTO will play a pivotal role in building robust IT infrastructure, driving innovation in digital learning, strengthening research capabilities, and delivering student-centric technology solutions that enable academic excellence and global competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
🔹Technology Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap.
- Integrate emerging technologies (AI/ML, AR/VR, IoT, Blockchain) into academics, research, and administration.
- Build a future-ready technology ecosystem for hybrid learning, virtual labs, and global collaborations.
🔹Academic & Research Enablement
- Enhance ERP, LMS, CMS, and e-learning platforms.
- Support faculty with advanced analytics, HPC, and secure research data management.
- Establish smart classrooms, virtual labs, and collaborative research platforms.
🔹IT Infrastructure & Security
- Oversee IT infrastructure, networking, cloud, cybersecurity, and business continuity.
- Ensure compliance with national and international regulatory standards.
- Implement governance frameworks, IT policies, and SOPs.
🔹Student-Centric Technology & Engagement
- Deploy mobile-first and AI-driven platforms for academic and student services.
- Enable personalized learning and retention through data-driven insights.
- Enhance engagement with gamification and immersive technologies.
🔹Operations & Vendor Management
- Manage technology budgets, contracts, and vendor partnerships.
- Lead enterprise-wide technology selection, integration, and project governance.
- Drive continuous improvement across IT operations.
Skills & Competencies
- Strategic leadership in technology and digital innovation.
- Strong expertise in ERP, LMS, AI/ML, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and Data Analytics.
- Deep understanding of higher education technology trends and best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to scale infrastructure for growth and global competitiveness.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (Ph.D. preferred).
- 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership (preferably in education or large institutions).
- Proven track record in managing large-scale IT projects and digital transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in driving innovation in technology-enabled learning and research environments.
