Description

We are hiring a Business Head who will own our new product end-to-end-to drive growth, engagement, retention, content ops, and product innovation.

This is a full P&L, full-stack ownership role across product, tech, GTM, growth, marketing, content, service & partnerships.

What You Will Own

1. P&L + Strategy Leadership

- Own revenue, margin, costs, CAC, LTV, churn, retention and payback.

- Set long-term strategy, 12-quarter roadmap, and OKRs across the business.

- Build a subscription-first growth engine (trials – conversions – renewals – referrals).

2. Product & User Experience (like a PM + GM)

- Drive product roadmap with engineering + design + content teams.

- Build features that improve DAU/WAU, learning minutes, NPS, stickiness & renewal rate.

- Own the full learner journey: onboarding – discovery – learning – outcomes.

- Run A/B tests on pricing, packaging, funnels, content formats & nudges.

- Champion a “consumer internet” product mindset, not a coaching mindset.

3. Growth, Marketing & Distribution

- Create high-efficiency growth loops inspired by Netflix/Spotify-style user journeys.

- Reduce CAC with content-led acquisition, creators, influencers & performance marketing.

- Lead GTM for new features, new exams, new states & new pricing bundles.

- Build referral, gamification, XP systems, badges, daily goals (habit loops).

4. Content & Academic Strategy

- Define the content model: recorded, live, modular, practice first, AI assistants etc.

- Work with SMEs, creators and teachers to build scalable content pipelines.

- Build content quality frameworks (completion rates, satisfaction scores, insights).

5. Service, Support & Customer Experience

- Build smooth support workflows: chat, WhatsApp, in-app support, helpdesk etc.

- Own the entire payments – renewal – subscription management systems.

6. Team & Cross-Functional Leadership

- Hire & mentor across growth, product, ops, content, analytics & user success.

- Build a culture of speed, experimentation, ownership & problem-solving.

- Weekly business reviews, dashboards, financial tracking & deep dives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- You should be the kind of leader who:

- Has scaled a B2C subscription product (Edtech, fintech, OTT, gaming, consumer internet).

- Has experience with PLG (product-led growth) and habit-forming product design.

- Has run P&L of – 20-150 Cr or been a GM/Category Head/Business Head.

- Understands Tier-3/4 user behaviour deeply (content formats, price sensitivity, trust gaps).

- Is equally comfortable with strategy and dirty-hands execution.

- Is data-obsessed – runs cohorts, funnel reports, retention curves and CAC payback.

- Can translate consumer insights into actionable product and growth levers.

What will make you our first choice:

1. Strong understanding of govt exams is a plus but not mandatory.

2. Previously owned and scaled Product-Led Growth for a subscription-first B2C platform, including full funnel ownership across trials – conversions – renewals – autopay retention.

3. Must have led cross-functional teams.
