Position Summary
We are hiring a Senior Program Manager (SPM) to lead, implement, and monitor educational projects across the state of Punjab. The SPM will be responsible for overseeing program operations, tracking key metrics, collecting feedback from stakeholders including teachers and students, and ensuring timely and effective execution. This role demands strong data handling and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities. The SPM will coordinate closely with government authorities, school leadership, and internal field teams to ensure impact delivery and represent our Fellows in official engagements.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, Hindi, and Punjabi (Reading, Writing, and Speaking – mandatory).
Key Responsibilities
Government Liaisoning
Regularly coordinate and conduct meetings with State Government officials and designated Points of Contact (POCs).

- Provide updates on program implementation and mutually agree on deliverables.
- Share achievements and progress against set deliverables.
- Identify and communicate deviations and collaboratively address challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with State and District officials, school principals, teachers, and students.
Program Monitoring
- Travel extensively across districts in Punjab to monitor program performance.
- Oversee on-ground implementation of projects across assigned schools.
- Collaborate with school principals to ensure uninterrupted program delivery.
- Track program deliverables and ensure that desired outcomes are achieved on schedule.
- Monitor engagement and learning metrics to support student outcomes.
On-Field Support
- Work closely with Government school teachers, our educators, and the Head of Program – North to align field activities.
- Participate in relevant WhatsApp groups of assigned schools to interact with students and monitor learning (online/offline).
- Conduct regular school visits for observation and program support.
Training and Workshops
- Plan, organize, and execute periodic training sessions at district or state level based on project requirements.
- Coordinate logistics, operations, and academic elements for impactful training sessions.
Feedback Mechanism
- Set up structured feedback channels with teachers and students.
- Collect, document, and analyze feedback to inform program improvements and course correction.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain detailed documentation of all stages of the project.
- Share timely reports and updates with internal teams and government stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit Monthly Progress Reports.
- Present regular program updates to both our Fellows and Government departments.
- Document success stories and field-based case studies for knowledge sharing.
