About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Senior Manager – Human Resources who can drive people strategy while being deeply involved in execution. The ideal candidate will bring experience in startup/fast-paced environments, with proven expertise in talent acquisition, HR operations, policy development, and team leadership. This role is critical in shaping a high-performance, employee-centric culture that supports business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Own the end-to-end recruitment process for leadership, niche, and volume hiring.

Build strong pipelines through multiple sourcing channels (campus, referrals, job portals, headhunting).

Work with business leaders to anticipate hiring needs and ensure timely closures.

2. HR Operations & Compliance

Oversee day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, employee lifecycle management, payroll coordination, and compliance.

Implement HRIS and automation practices for efficiency and scalability.

Ensure adherence to labor laws and statutory requirements.

3. Policy Making & Process Design

Design, implement, and communicate HR policies, frameworks, and SOPs aligned with company values.

Continuously review and update policies to reflect best practices and evolving business needs.

Introduce employee engagement initiatives that improve retention and workplace culture.

4. Team Handling & Leadership

Lead and mentor the HR team, ensuring professional growth and alignment with organizational goals.

Build a high-performance HR function capable of supporting rapid organizational scale.

Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees.

5. Culture & Strategy in Startup Environment

Drive initiatives that foster a strong startup culture: agility, ownership, innovation, and collaboration.

Partner with leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives.

Champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and ensure a positive employee experience.

Key Requirements

8–12 years of HR experience, with at least 3–4 years in a leadership role.

Strong background in Recruitment, HR Operations, and Policy Development.

Proven team management experience.

Prior experience in startup/fast-growth environments is highly preferred.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR systems.
