Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented SST Editor to join our team. In

this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the highest quality

standards for our content. You will be responsible for the editorial

development of our educational materials, including writing, editing,

proofreading, and collaborating closely with our team of curriculum

designers, artists, and product developers.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, write, edit, and proofread educational content for the K–8 segment.

Analyse the curriculum and ensure that the books are mapped to the said

curriculum.

Evaluate and review manuscripts submitted by Authors.

Ensure all content meets our rigorous quality standards.

Ensure that all the edits comply with house style.

Coordinate and collaborate with in-house and outsourced curriculum

designers, artists, and product development teams.

Maintain consistency and accuracy across all content.

Qualifications:

5 to 8 years of experience in publishing or educational content creation,

particularly within the K-8 segment.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English.

Editing the content of the books according to the syllabus of the K–8

segment of the K–8 CBSE and State Boards

Excellent command of the English language, including grammar,

punctuation, and spelling

Familiarity with school curriculum and pedagogy.

Ability to work independently and think creatively.

Confident communication skills (written and verbal)

Excellent organisational skills and confidence in completing multiple tasks

to deadlines.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office software.

Flexibility to work with different content styles and adapt to evolving

educational standards and requirements.
