The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of product development, growth strategies, user acquisition, engagement, and retention, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams to achieve significant product and business growth. This is a hands-on role with additional responsibilities to mentor younger APMs.

The Product Growth Lead will work closely with product managers, marketers, engineers, and data analysts to drive initiatives that accelerate user acquisition, retention, and overall product growth. This is a high-impact role that requires a combination of product expertise, analytical skills, and leadership to deliver sustainable growth in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

Growth Strategy & Roadmap:

Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies that align with the company’s overall product and business goals.

Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities for product and user growth, focusing on acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization.

Lead the creation and iteration of the product growth roadmap, working collaboratively with product managers and cross-functional teams.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

Analyze product usage data, customer behavior, and market trends to inform growth strategies and improve decision-making.

Conduct A/B tests, experiments, and cohort analysis to optimize the user experience and identify growth levers.

Use analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude) to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and product metrics.

User Acquisition & Retention:

Work closely with the marketing and product teams to develop and execute initiatives that drive user acquisition and retention, such as referral programs, in-app features, and onboarding enhancements.

Focus on optimizing customer lifetime value (CLTV) and reducing churn through continuous product improvements and personalized user experiences.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with product managers to ensure that product features and improvements align with growth objectives.

Partner with the engineering and design teams to ensure seamless execution of growth initiatives and experiments.

Work closely with the marketing team to align product launches, campaigns, and messaging with growth targets.

Optimization & Scaling:

Continuously optimize the product experience by leveraging data, user feedback, and market insights.

Drive the scaling of product features and growth tactics that have proven effective in smaller tests.

Identify bottlenecks and friction points in the user journey and work with relevant teams to remove obstacles.

Customer Insights & Feedback Loop:

Gather insights directly from users via surveys, user interviews, and other feedback channels to understand pain points and areas for improvement.

Integrate user feedback into the product development process to ensure the product remains aligned with customer needs.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Product Management, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Experience:

5-7 years of experience in product management or growth, or marketing with a focus on driving user acquisition, engagement, and retention. Candidates with 4-6 years of experience can also be considered but they have to be super exceptional on growth hacking.

Proven track record of managing and scaling growth initiatives, particularly in SaaS, eCommerce, or tech-driven companies. Any prior Edtech experience is an added advantage but not mandatory.

Strong experience with product experimentation, data analysis, and optimization techniques (e.g., A/B testing, cohort analysis).

Skills:

Prior experience driving MAU , Revenue Growth and retention playbooks. Product led growth strategies. Strong understanding of AAARRC funnels

Expertise in data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, SQL).

Strong understanding of customer segmentation, user journey mapping, and retention strategies.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguous and complex challenges.

Familiarity with growth hacking techniques and digital marketing channels (SEO, paid media, email marketing) is a plus.
