We are seeking a highly experienced and creative Director – Social Media Marketing to lead and drive social media efforts for a fast-growing education technology platform. This strategic leadership role involves developing and executing innovative social media strategies, managing a high-performing team, and crafting impactful campaigns to engage millions of learners.
The ideal candidate will combine creativity, analytical expertise, and leadership to scale social media presence, boost brand visibility, and enhance user engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals and vision.
- Lead large-scale campaigns aimed at driving brand awareness, user acquisition, and engagement.
Content Planning and Execution:
- Oversee the creation of compelling, platform-specific content such as videos, reels, and infographics tailored for students and learners.
- Ensure consistent messaging, tone, and visual identity across all social media platforms.
Campaign Development:
- Plan, execute, and monitor end-to-end campaigns across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
- Optimize campaigns using data-driven insights to improve performance and achieve growth metrics.
Performance Analytics and ROI Tracking:
- Analyze campaign performance using advanced tools and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Focus on key metrics such as impressions, reach, engagement rates, follower growth, and conversions.
Team Management:
- Build, mentor, and lead a team of social media and content creation professionals.
- Collaborate with design, video production, and marketing teams for seamless execution of campaigns.
Trendspotting and Innovation:
- Stay updated with the latest trends in social media and education technology.
- Leverage new tools, technologies, and formats to create innovative and impactful campaigns.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in social media marketing, digital strategy, and content creation, preferably in the ed-tech or consumer-focused industry.
Expertise:
- Proven track record of scaling social media presence, running viral campaigns, and delivering measurable results.
- Proficient with tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, YouTube Studio, and social media management platforms.
Skills:
- Creativity and Storytelling: Ability to craft content strategies that resonate with young audiences and learners.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong expertise in performance tracking and data-driven optimization.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Trend Awareness: In-depth understanding of social media trends, influencer marketing, and video content creation.
