Description
We are seeking an experienced Payroll & Compliance Specialist with strong expertise in payroll operations, compliance, and a deep understanding of the IPO readiness process. The ideal candidate must come from a fast-paced startup environment and be able to lead end-to-end payroll governance while ensuring organizational compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end payroll processing with 100% accuracy and timeliness.
Handle statutory compliance including PF, ESIC, Gratuity, LWF, TDS, Shops & Establishment Act, and other labor laws.
Maintain payroll records, employee compensation data, and monthly reconciliation.
Liaise with auditors and external regulatory bodies for payroll and compliance matters.
Support IPO-related activities such as:
Compliance audits and documentation
Process standardization and governance
Implementation of robust payroll and compliance frameworks
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulatory updates.
Prepare and present payroll analytics and reports for management.
Streamline systems and processes for operational excellence.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial and employee information.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, or related field.
8 – 15 years of experience in Payroll & Compliance.
Mandatory experience in Startup ecosystem.
Strong knowledge of IPO Processes and compliance standards.
Hands-on expertise with payroll tools and HRMS systems.
Solid understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory regulations.
Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills.
